The Birthday Giving Program is excited to announce our partnership with Cigna’s Generations ERG Program! Cigna has made a $2,500 donation to our organization and we will be hosting various virtual and in-person events together. We held two virtual events this past February and Cigna employees made hundreds of beautiful, hand-decorated birthday cards for our recipients!
Along with making birthdays cards, Cigna employees from Kansas, Wisconsin, Missouri, North Carolina, California, and Pennsylvania have been packing birthday bags and donating them to nonprofits in their communities.
The Birthday Giving Program is partnered with the Dover Downs Hotel & Casino in Dover, DE. Each month, they are providing birthday bags to children through the Greater Dover Boys and Girls Club.
The Birthday Giving Program is excited to partner with Legacy Wealth Partners! Legacy Wealth Partners is a very generous employer with generous employees who always jump on board to help out in times of need. Lana and several of her co-workers are providing birthday bags to children in need at an organization called Guardian Ad Litem in Tampa, FL. Lana has two adult kids and two grandkids, and spends most of her down time with her fabulous husband of 30+ years.
CC Links is an organization in Ozark, MO that supports individuals with special needs. The mission of their participation with The Birthday Giving Program is to provide an opportunity for individuals with special needs to give back to their community and bring a smile to someone’s face. CC Links is currently providing birthday bags to the The Baptist Home in Ozark.
The Birthday Giving Program is now partnered with Mercy Health - The Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio! Each month, they are donating 5 birthday bags for children to a food pantry called the Queen City Kitchen.
Malavika and Pooja Menon are founders of ‘Nandanam Arts’ - https://www.nandanamarts.org/ - a non-profit organization created for the emotional wellness of members at senior and dementia centers. Via this platform, they provide volunteering services for these centers, with dance performances, games, motor skill activities, and fundraising activities. Malavika is an 11th grade student and Pooja is in 9th grade. They are involved in many school club activities and have both won interstate Science and Engineering fairs and the 3M Young Scientist Challenge. Both have been following a form of Indian Classical dance called "Bharthanatyam" ever since they were six year olds and have performed on various social, cultural, and entertainment platforms. Malavika enjoys writing poems, playing volleyball, public speaking, and anchoring events. Pooja’s hobbies include drawing, baking, public speaking, and volleyball. They are donating birthday bags to Sunrise of Exton.
