Sonika is a senior at the University of Chicago. She is a 3rd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, which she has been practicing for over 10 years. Sonika also loves to play the piano. Birthdays have always been a big part of Sonika's family. At 13 years old, she founded The Birthday Giving Program to ensure that everyone is celebrated for who they are on their special day.
Rinna is a junior at The George Washington University. She is part of many school clubs including Student Government, Student Ambassador Leadership Team, National Honor Society, and Tennis. She is going into her 10th year as a Bharatnatyam dancer and enjoys playing piano.
Rohin is a freshman at Loyola University Chicago. He has been working to establish international partnerships for The Birthday Giving Program. He is also the Founder of The School Supply Project, which responds to the need for school supplies in low-income school districts. In his spare time, Rohin enjoys playing basketball and collecting and restoring old cars. He is also a 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
Anya is a junior at St. Francis High School. She is part of several school clubs including Math Team and Student Council. Her hobbies include singing, playing the piano, and playing tennis and volleyball. Anya loves to make and decorate cakes for our recipients.
Gabriella is a junior in high school looking to go into the business field. She is part of an advisory board for the business program at her school. Gabriella is also a chapter representative for The Birthday Giving Program!
Kyndall is a student at Indiana University studying Biology on the Pre- Med track. She is excited to be a part of The Birthday Giving Program team!
Fatima is a 20-year-old majoring in public health at the University of South Australia. She loves working with people, particularly those from underserved communities. In the future, she hopes to further her education in global health.
Dana is from Birmingham, AL. In her free time, she enjoys reading books, making crafts, watching movies, and spending time with family. She believes that a birthday should be celebrated no matter how old you are turning, as each year is just as important as the last! Dana is also a chapter representative for The Birthday Giving Program! She provides birthday bags to senior citizens at Oak Knoll Health and Rehabilitation.
