The School Supply Project

The School Supply Project was launched in March 2021 by Rohin Menon and Anya Talwar. This project operates as an addition to The Birthday Giving Program in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Because many families have been struggling financially due to the pandemic, we are filling a need for the lack of school supplies for schools in low income neighborhoods. At this time, we are providing supplies to schools in District 131 (Aurora, IL) on a monthly basis.

Based on our experience as students, getting new school supplies has always been an incentive when starting a new school year. Brand new notebooks, pens, pencils, and colorful markers add a special feeling to starting school. Through the School Supply Project, our goal is to encourage kids to stay in school and pursue their education to their highest potential.
